One Day Social Media and Online Marketing Business Conference – 23rd Nov

The Brave Business Conference takes place on Monday November 23rd in the Davenport Hotel, Dublin. Aimed at Start Ups, SME’s and Entrepreneurs, it is a one day event designed to teach delegates everything they need to know about incorporating Social Media & online Marketing into their business. On the day they will have the opportunity to meet with a Graphic Designer, a Web Designer, an Accountant, a Videographer and many more businesses to help attendees get their business off the ground.

The Key note speaker on the day is Thérese McCarthy of MAC Consulting. Thérese will open the event with her talk “The 15 minute meeting – Converting Prospect to Customer every time”. In this she will discuss how to network a room effectively, teaching the attendees how to get the best out of the event at hand.

Run by The Irish WIB (Women in Business) Network, the event is open to all. The chosen charity for the event is the male health care charity – MOVEMBER – Changing the Face of Men’s Health.

With 2 stages, and 5 Master classes, the expected 250 attendees will learn from internationally renowned Social Media experts such as Susan Dolan – Google Expert, Jenny Brennan – Facebook Expert, Greg Fry – International Social Media Expert, and Philip Gleeson – Twitter Expert. Other speakers on the day include successful entrepreneurs such as Orlaith Carmody – Ireland AM Panelist, Kyle Gawley the CEO of Get Invited and Anne Ravanona of Global Invent Her.

Location: O’Callaghan Davenport Hotel in Dublin city centre has a great location near Trinity College and Merrion Square.

Parking: PrePay Parking Online is available via QPark at St Stephens Green. Day rate is €16 9am-6pm and 24 hour parking is €20.
The process is very simple:

  • You pre-book your parking online and you will receive a confirmation email and/or SMS.
  • At the car park entry barrier you take a ticket and park your car.
  • Go directly to the customer service desk and present your confirmation email/SMS.
  • The Parking Host will give you an exit ticket to use on your return to the parking facility.
